Sub-processors
Last updated: June 19, 2026
BareMetalRT runs inference entirely on your own hardware, and your chat content never leaves your GPU. The sub-processors below are engaged only to support our hosted services (accounts, the web app, remote relay access, billing, and software-update distribution). When the daemon runs offline or in air-gapped mode (BMRT_AIRGAP=1), none of these sub-processors receive any data from your deployment.
| Sub-processor | Purpose | Data involved | Region |
|---|---|---|---|
| DigitalOcean, LLC | Hosting for the web application, relay/orchestrator, and account database | Account data, GPU-node metadata (model, VRAM, hostname, IP), usage metadata | United States |
| Stripe, Inc. | Subscription billing and payment processing for paid plans | Billing contact, plan/seat counts, payment-method tokens (card data held by Stripe, not us) | United States |
| Anthropic, PBC | Automatic categorization and routing of in-app product feedback you choose to submit | Only the feedback text and diagnostics you opt to include — never chat content. Processed under Anthropic's commercial API terms (inputs not used for training). | United States |
| GitHub, Inc. | Hosting and distribution of signed software releases and update checks | Your IP address and the application version during an update check; no account or usage data | United States |
